Zinfandel Wine Recommendations

There are certainly a lot of great Zinfandel Wines to choose from, many of which are a great accompaniment to meals. Even for a wine expert, it's sometimes hard to make a decision simply because there are so many to choose from. That is one reason why we have listed below are some of our favorite Zinfandel Wine Recommendations.

The first of our Zinfandel wine recommendations is the Beaulieu Vineyard Signet Zinfandel 1999. This is a Californian Zinfandel (see also Napa Merlot and White Merlot) and retails at around twenty eight dollars a bottle. This Zinfandel wine recommendation provides you with rich mocha-coffee and vanilla aromas and has prominent scents of blackberry and black pepper along with faint hints of anise and jam. This is a full bodied Zinfandel wine with strong flavors of vanilla and oak which are perfectly balanced by soft tannins, a hint of black pepper and lively acidity. Next on our list of Zinfandel wine recommendations is the Bradford Mountain 2000 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel. This is also a Californian Zinfandel and one of the finest varieties that are produced in all of California. This Zinfandel wine recommendations is a full bodied, richly flavored wine, boasting brambly blackberry fruit aromas with overtones of mint, black pepper and dark chocolate. On the palate this wine is ripe, fleshy and lusciously fruited with soft tannins and a long rich finish. This Zinfandel wine recommendation is an excellent accompaniment to grilled and barbequed meats, pasta dishes and cheeses. The last on our list of Zinfandel wine recommendations is the St. Francis 2002 Old Vines Zinfandel which comes from Sonoma County in California. (see also Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon) This wine costs about twenty-two dollar a bottle. This Zinfandel wine is a plump, layered wine with complex black cherry, raspberry and black pepper flavors which unfold pleasantly on your palate.

When it comes to choosing a good Zinfandel wine, we advise you to avoid those Zinfandel wine selections which cost less than twenty dollars a bottle. The quality of these wines usually doesn't compare to Zinfandel wines which cost more than twenty dollars a bottle. Why not pay a few dollars more so you can be certain that you are getting a great Zinfandel wine? You may just find a wine great Zinfandel wine recommendation of your own.
