Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Recommendations

As many people are aware, Cabernet Sauvignon is an expensive wine and one that can cost upwards of one hundred dollars a bottle. Of course, paying one hundred dollars for a bottle of wine doesn't even guarantee that you are going to like it. Which is why, we have listed below some of our favorite Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Recommendations, ranging in price from ten dollars a bottle to sixty dollars a bottle. These Cabernet Sauvignon wine recommendations will provide you with an excellent choice when you go to the store to pick out a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon Wine.

The first of our Cabernet Sauvignon wine recommendations is the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley which is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Grapes. This wine is priced at about sixty dollars a bottle and has a big, sweet, oaky nose and seductive panoply of spices which ranges from cedar wood to plum pudding and even a faint hint fruitcake. This flavorful Cabernet Sauvignon wine recommendation offers the attractiveness of ripe-fruit flavors with plenty of oak. It also ages well and should be good for at least ten years. We highly recommend this wine for special occasions like romantic picnics.

The next Cabernet Sauvignon wine recommendation on our list is the Robert Mondavi Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon which is also priced at about sixty dollars a bottle. It also features the wonderful aroma of spices and vanilla. This may be the best of our Cabernet Sauvignon wine recommendations to have with food. The 2001 Haras De Pirque Cabernet Sauvignon is another excellent choice which is only priced at about ten to twelve dollars a bottle. This wine provides excellent value for money and has flavors of plum and currant with a firm smoky edge and a smooth, moderate finish. This particular Cabernet Sauvignon wine recommendation is affordable and is also an excellent choice for a romantic picnic.

Lastly on our list of Cabernet Sauvignon wine recommendations, we have the Laurel Glen 2001 Terra Rose Valle Central Cabernet Sauvignon which again is generously priced at about ten to twelve dollars a bottle. This is a dark Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Chile which provides aromas of blackcurrant with subtle herbal notes and a discreet whiff of spice. This wine has juicy ripe-fruit flavors and is properly balanced with crisp acidity and smooth tannins. As you can see, Cabernet Sauvignon wines can vary greatly in price. And while buying an expensive Cabernet Sauvignon wine is often a safe bet. It doesn't guarantee that you will like it.
